Green Solutions was established in 2005 Reykjahlíð, Mývatn, Iceland. Green Solutions has developed an innovative production line for Molded pulp pallets, suitable for transportation of lightweight goods , for weight less than 500kg. These pallets are made of 100% recycled paper in a patented process that includes heat treatment and the pallets are therefore suitable for international freight without the risk of carrying insects.
The company’s vision is to provide its customers environmentally friendly pallets that are 100% recyclable and developed from recyclable waste. These environmentally friendly “green light pallets” are made from 100% recycled paper. The key benefits are: reduced costs associated with shipping, reduced carbon footprint, assisting companies in greening the supply chain e.g. ISO 14000 application and therefore promoting an enhanced image.
