ISLANDUS 1919

The inspiration for the design Islandus 1919 was the spirit of the pioneers of aviation. Name of the watch comes after 1919, when a Danish pilot Cecil Torben Faber took off from Reykjavik on the aircraft, the Avro-504 from Air Iceland. Launch site, they chose to start Faber is exactly the same place that later the British Air Force chose, as well a place for the International Airport in Reykjavik, and where today there is a local airport. Location of the port is the area code 101 in Reykjavik, the first year starting 1919, this information is on the dial
